Taylor Swift's full name is Taylor Alison Swift. Taylor Swift was born on December 13th, 1989 West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.A. Taylor Swift became an incredibly popular performer and song writer in the early part of 2001, with stories of pain and heartbreak. Swift was interested in music at an early age. She swiftly rose through the ranks, beginning by playing roles in the theater for children before singing in front of a large crowd. She was age 11 when she performed The Star-Spangled Banner before a Philadelphia 76ers basketball match and next year, she began playing guitar and began to write songs. Swift took inspiration from artists from the country genre, such as Shania Twain, the Dixie Chicks as well as the Chicks to come up with original songs that expressed the apathy she experienced by 13 years old. Swift's parents moved her to Tennessee at the age of 13 after selling their Pennsylvania farm. The move gave Swift to devote more time trying to find labels that would promote country music in Nashville.
